Throwback Thrusday – Mistletoe and Submission

This is one of my longer stories – not quite a novel, but longer than most novellas, lol.

This book has proven to be a bit of a marmite book – readers either love it or hate it. Sloan, the dom, is flawed. I think his biggest flaw is that what he says doesn’t always reflect how he really feels. He likes to sound like a hard-arse. You have to look at his actions rather than his words to see what he really feels. I quite like characters like that – but your milage my vary – you have been warned, lol.

39. Mistletoe and Submission

Mistletoe and Submission is available from the Publisher, Amazon and All Romance E-books.

“Stand under the mistletoe until midnight, naked, bound and blindfolded. Submit to any dominant who wants a piece of you.”

At the junior doms regular poker night, anything can, and frequently does, happen. Add in crackers that contain dares instead of jokes and two men’s lives might never be the same again.

When Carl applied to join the best leather club in the city, he had no doubt about his preference for dominance. It was only when he set eyes on Sloan that he began to wonder if submission might be far more fun than he originally thought.

With no time for club politics and little interest in rising through the ranks, ever since experienced dom Sloan moved to the city and joined the club, he’s been quite content to bide his time among the junior dominants and keep a brotherly eye on a young man who is obviously out of his depth amongst his more sadistic contemporaries.

One man has to do the dare. The only question now, is which man will it be, and are either of the friends ready for the way their relationship might change after a night of Mistletoe and Submission?

Throwback Thursday – Gay Divorcee and In the Blink of an Eye

I have more Christmas stories than I have weeks in December, so this week I’m doubling up!

Gay Divorcee – Jones is a sweetheart, Grayson is a lost soul. It might not be the most conventional Christmas tale, but I love how they come from such different places but still find common ground.

17. Gay Divorcee

Grayson gave up on the idea of gay marriage when he became a gay divorcee. Can Jones remind him that not all gay men are like his cheating ex?

Gay marriage, civil commitment and equal rights. Jones doesn’t care what it’s called. He wants that security to be part of his future, and he wants it to be available to everyone else too. He’s happy to tell his dominant friend Bernard, and anyone else who will listen, how wonderful it will be when every gay man can live happily ever after with the man he loves.

Gay divorce, cheating husbands and bad decisions. Grayson used to think that the right to marry another man would cure all gay ills too – until he married and divorced Claude. The adorably submissive Jones obviously needs someone to explain to him exactly why gay men should never get married before he makes all the same mistakes Grayson made.

Before the Christmas celebrations end, someone will have to accept that they are wrong and the other man is right. The only question is who?

Gay Divorcee is available from the Publisher, Amazon and All Romance E-books.

Six Years Later! + FAQ

Hi Everyone!

Today it is officially six years since my first story was published!

It’s been a busy six years, but over 100 stories later, here I am 🙂

Since today is the anniversary of that first story, I thought I’d start of my FAQ (Frequently Ask Questions) posts by doing one that celebrates everything that’s happened in the last six years.

A few people have asked lately if there’s a list of books that they can tick titles off as they read them. I had one on my website for a while, but it got out of date. So, here’s the new and improved version.

To make it easily copy and paste-able, I haven’t used links. You can find the links and covers on my website here.

Throwback Thursday – The Gift

The Gift was my first ever story to be published back in December 2008!

I love this book. I can’t say it’s been a huge success, but I love it anyway. It’s one that makes my cry every time I re-read it. Nicky is such a sweetheart and even though I *know* everything will work out in the end (hell I wrote the ending, so I should know!), there’s one bit where Nicki doesn’t think it will, and it gets me every time.

I know that a lot of people have been put off by the so often done Christmas Spirits theme, which is a pity, because I think people who like stories like Duck! could really like this one too.

This one features the Spirit of Christmas Past. The other two spirits were written by other authors. Each story stands alone. At some point, I am hoping to write my own versions of Christmas Present and Christmas Future.

(Heads up – there’s a (all male) menage scene in this one.)

1. The Gift

Blurb:

Just because Charles doesn’t see any point in making a fuss about Christmas, that doesn’t mean he can’t tolerate Nicky’s passion for tinsel and holly. He’s never forbidden his pet from enjoying any of his Christmas traditions and he thinks that’s enough.

Nicky has one ambition – to give his master a perfect Christmas. He’s willing to do anything to make that happen – even if it means taking risks and asking his master for special privileges – even if that means inviting a third man into their bed.

The Spirit of Christmas Past isn’t used to visiting Christmases that involve quite so much nudity, passion or kinky sex. Leading a dominant man like Charles through the Christmases isn’t easy – and keeping his eyes off the frequently naked Nicky is impossible. Still, all the spirit can do is enjoy the show – because his job is to bring lovers together and fade away inconspicuously. That’s the plan. However, if someone suddenly wants to thank him, who is he to say no?

You can buy The Gift from Totally Bound, All Romance E-books and Amazon.
