Duck! and News! and More News!

Hi Everyone,

Three posts in one, so if one part doesn’t interest you, keep reading another topic will turn up soon 🙂

Part One –

Duck! is out now!

image

It’s on Amazon, All Romance E-books and Goodreads. The print version is also on Createspace. Ever since midnight last night I’ve been waiting for it to go on line with Barnes & Noble so I could do all the links at the same time, but no luck yet. Will update when it goes on line 🙂

If you have any questions about it, feel free to ask in the comments section (or anywhere else where I’m bound to see it – I’m easy like that). If you’d like a review copy feel free to e-mail me.

In case you’ve managed to avoid reading it until now – here’s the blurb:

Raised among humans, Ori Jones only discovered he was an avian shifter six months ago. Unable to complete a full shift until he reaches his avian maturity, he still can’t be sure of his exact species.

But with species comes rank, and rank is everything to the avians. When a partial shift allows the elders to announce that they believe Ori to be a rather ugly little duckling, he drops straight to the bottom rung of their hierarchy.

Life isn’t easy for Ori until he comes to the attention of a high ranking hawk shifter. Then the only question is, is Ori really a duck—and what will his new master think when the truth eventually comes out?

Part Two –

I have an agent. Her name is Deidre Knight. Her agency is The Knight Agency and she’s really lovely. Huge shout out thanks to Tibby Armstrong for introducing us!

If you’re wondering what this means from a readers point of view, I’ll tell you where things stand at the moment.

I’m still going to be self publishing English language e-book editions and print on demand editions the same as I have been doing the last couple of years. I have four series on the go, and all of them will carry on as before – nothing cancelled, nothing altered. (Those four series are FIT Guys, Kinky Cupid, Avian Shifters and Werewolves & Dragons, btw.)

However, you might see foreign language editions of some of my books at some point in the future. Audio books are also a possibility.

Again, any questions, feel free to ask. I probably won’t know the answer, but you can still ask 🙂

Part Three –

I’m on Facebook. I didn’t actually kick or scream but a fair bit of dragging might have been involved, lol.

You can find my profile here – and friend me if you want to.

You can also find my author page here – and like that if you want to.

Everything’s a bare thin on the ground there at the moment, but I’ll add more as time goes on 🙂

Questions – well I know even less about Facebook than I do about agent, but you can take a shot if you like 🙂

And I think that is it for now…

Hope everyone is having a great Wednesday!

*Hugs*

Duck! (Second Edition) – available for pre-order now!

Hi Everyone!

This was going to be a newsletter issued on the 1st of the month and with details on everything due to happen this month etc, but it’s now 1:52am tomorrow morning, so I’m just going to do today’s news and come back and do other days on other days.

Duck! is now available for pre-order on Amazon and All Romance E-books!

It will release officially on August 12th – at which time it will also go up on Barnes & Noble. (At the moment only big publishers have the ability to list books for pre-order there.)

So here we go – as I said before, this is the second edition of Duck! It has been tweaked and re-edited, but the plot hasn’t altered.

Duck! has a new cover for the new edition, and it’s made by Kris Norris.

The blurb:

The pre-order links are – Amazon and All Romance E-books.

The Goodreads link is here. (The reviews are for the first edition. Your mileage may vary with the second edition on some points.)

A print edition is in the works.

And, finally, here’s the first chapter… Continue reading

Avian Shifters – Release Scheule and Cover Reveal

Hi everyone!

I have news on the Avian Shifters series. It’s about a year later than I intended to be able to announce these release dates but never mind, lol.

First the follow up novellas I spoke about before. The bad news is that they didn’t work out as hoped. Raynard had to make certain mistakes in order for the plot of the first follow up novella to work, but he’s stubbornly refused to do that. The good news is that the follow up novellas will be replaced with follow up short stories – and those stories will be free. Free is always cool, right?

On to the novels!

They’ll come out in e-book and print and the e-book version will be released through Amazon, All Romance Ebooks, Barnes & Noble and iTunes. The plan is to upload each one for pre-order about two weeks before the actual release day.

Duck! has been polished, edited and proofed. I’m going through the proofs now. It will go off to file conversion in a day or two.

Duck! will be released in August 2015.

This is the gorgeous new cover by Kris Norris…

Magpie is being polished at the moment. It has a few more processes left to go through yet.

Magpie should be released in November 2015.

It has a fantastic new cover too!

And, the last book that’s part of this announcement, but certainly not least…

Albatross hasn’t been written yet, but it has been plotted out.

Albatross has a tentative release date of May 2016.

I already have a wonderful cover for it.

Okay, that’s all for now 🙂 Back to working on the books!
